Akkodis is seeking a Quality Manager for a Contract with a client in North Quincy, MA. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Java‑Selenium while developing robust test scripts and validating end‑to‑end application functionality.
Rate Range: $37/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Quality Manager job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java‑Selenium to validate application functionality and performance.
Build and enhance automation frameworks to support regression, functional, and integration testing.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with engineering teams for timely resolution.
Execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and high‑quality releases.
Analyze test results, generate reports, and recommend improvements to strengthen overall software quality.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
8–10 years of professional experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.
Proven hands‑on expertise in Java‑Selenium automation, including building and maintaining automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of test execution, defect management, and CI/CD‑based automated testing, ensuring high‑quality application releases.
