Job Description

POOLHOUSE, a Republican political and advertising agency, is looking for smart, driven and eager interns to join our team this summer. Our 10-week paid summer internship is a full-time program for rising college juniors, seniors, and recent graduates who want to get their foot in the door in Republican politics, want a front row seat to learn how winning campaign TV and digital ads are made, and are excited to work on marquee political campaigns for candidates across the country.

Interns will work closely with the political department for the length of the program, gaining hands-on experience, direct mentorship, and day-to-day exposure to how a political consulting, communications and advertising agency operates.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in Republican politics, campaigns, public affairs, or political communications
  • Prior campaign or Hill experience is +++
  • Go-getting attitude and self-starters are essential.
  • Strong writers are encouraged to apply
  • Familiarity with or a keen interest in developing skills in digital media, communications, advertising, or design
  • Strongest candidates will be politically engaged, eager to learn, dependable, and self-starters who are excited to find out how political campaigns work and how ads are made

Additional Information:

  • Interns are paid state minimum wage and will work full-time
  • Interns must be available for a full-time, 10-week in person program running from June 1, 2026 to August 7, 2026
  • Interns must have reliable transportation
  • Interns will be asked to be present in the DC office Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
