Job Description
We are seeking a Mold Maker to join our production team. In this role, you will be utilizing plaster casting techniques to create high-precision molds for silicone part production.
The ideal candidate has a "measure twice, cut once" mindset and thrives in an environment where attention to detail matter. You will be responsible for the entire mold-making lifecycle—from preparing masters to ensuring the final silicone pull meets our company standards.

Responsibilities
- Mold Fabrication: Construct complex multi-part plaster molds specifically engineered for silicone casting.
- Material Management: Masterfully mix, pour, and de-air plaster and gypsum cements to ensure bubble-free, high-strength molds.
- Precision Tooling: Utilize calipers, micrometers, and various hand tools to verify dimensions and maintain tight tolerances.
- Surface Preparation: Expertly sand, seal, and apply release agents to master patterns and mold surfaces to ensure flawless part finishes.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished molds for hair-line cracks, porosity, or registration errors; perform repairs or adjustments as necessary.
- Silicone Casting: Assist in the initial silicone pours to validate mold functionality and part accuracy.
