We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist at our esteemed medical practice in Mount Kisco, NY. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital function in providing exceptional customer service to our patients and visitors. Medical Receptionist Responsibilities:

»Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, ensuring their needs are met courteously and promptly.

»Verify and update patient account information following our Front Desk policy and procedures.

»Collaborate with the Insurance Verification team to maintain knowledge of insurance requirements and ensure accurate information is entered.

»Adhere to our Cash Security policy and procedures, following guidelines to maintain financial accuracy.

»Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area and patient waiting room on a regular basis.

»Familiarize yourself with individual physicians' scheduling requirements and preferences.

»Create a professional and welcoming environment at the front desk, reflecting our commitment to patient care.

»Provide patient support and respond to inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.

»Employ effective communication strategies that cater to the needs of all patients, including those from vulnerable populations.

»Perform additional tasks as assigned.



Medical Receptionist Qualifications required

»High School graduate or equivalent.

»Minimum of two years of practice in a customer service function, preferably in a medical practice environment.

»Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of HIPPA standards

»Knowledge of medical software/clinical systems

»Bilingual candidates are preferred
