JOB DETAILS

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Work Schedule: 6:00AM – 4:00PM - Monday – Thursday, and 6:00AM – 2:30PM - Friday

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform various interior and exterior professional janitorial and custodial services
• Interior cleaning activities to include kitchen, restrooms and office areas
• Trash receptacle maintenance
• Recyclables maintenance
• Dusting activities
• Steam clean carpets, buff floors and wax as needed
• Exterior janitorial activities to include windows, lawn maintenance, sidewalks, etc
• Develop and coordinate a schedule for custodial maintenance services
• Order and maintain supplies as necessary for housekeeping work
• Comply with all safety requirements and use all applicable personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Clean work area daily and perform preventative maintenance and equipment checks
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 to 3 years of previous professional custodial services preferred
• Ability to read labels and understand instructions in order to mix and use cleaning chemicals correctly
• Ability to operate various interior and exterior equipment
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
