Position Overview
The Waters Grill is seeking a reliable and hardworking Barback to support our bar team in delivering a seamless and elevated guest experience. This role is essential to maintaining the flow of service by ensuring bartenders are fully stocked, organized, and set up for success throughout each shift. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

• Assist bartenders with daily setup and breakdown of the bar
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, glassware, garnishes, and bar supplies throughout service
• Prepare garnishes, juices, and other bar ingredients to support cocktail execution
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, sinks, and storage spaces
• Collect and wash glassware efficiently to ensure continuous service
• Remove trash and recyclables, keeping all service areas clean and presentable
• Support bartenders during high-volume service by anticipating needs
• Assist with receiving and organizing inventory deliveries
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards

• Previous barback or restaurant experience preferred, but not required
• Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (kegs, cases of liquor/beer)
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
