You are a visionary creative leader with a deep passion for storytelling, video, design, and brand-building. As an Art Director , you are a strategic thinker with a strong eye for aesthetics, an expert in visual communication, and a mentor who uplifts and inspires creative teams. WHAT YOU DO

As an Art Director within WB Games, you lead the creative execution for marketing campaigns, user acquisition efforts, and social media initiatives hands-on. You work hand-in-hand closely with designers, motion artists, editors, and cross-functional teams to develop high-impact creative assets that align with the brand’s identity and business objectives. You set the creative tone, establish design standards, and provide mentorship to ensure the highest level of quality and innovation in all creative output.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Hands-on and drives the creative direction for UA, digital, social, and motion graphics projects.

  • Lead and inspire a team of designers, motion artists, providing clear creative guidance and feedback.

  • Collaborate with product managers, user acquisition, and social media teams to conceptualize and execute visually compelling campaigns.

  • Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and visual identity across all creative assets.

  • Review and refine creative work, balancing strategic objectives with innovative execution.

  • Work closely with Project Managers to align creative production with project timelines and deliverables.

  • Stay ahead of design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to continuously elevate creative output.

  • Present creative concepts and strategies to stakeholders, articulating the vision and rationale behind design decisions.

  • Oversee asset creation and adaptation for different formats, including digital advertising, social media content, seasonal art, motion graphics, and promotional materials.

  • Guide and mentor junior designers and creative teams, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.

HARD SKILLS

  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).

  • Strong understanding of brand identity, typography, composition, and visual storytelling.

  • Experience in digital, social, and motion design with a focus on marketing, advertising, and mobile.

  • Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and how design impacts user engagement.

  • Ability to create and oversee both static and motion-based creative assets.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills for articulating creative concepts to stakeholders.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $126,000.00 - $234,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
